Re: Zanussi ZDT6255 not completing cycles, no fault codes!

Almost certainly the pcb at fault. These suffer from burnt-out/dry joints on the heater circuit and the transformer for the power supply has been known to break down.

If you can wield a soldering iron, it’s worth having a look.

    Power off first, mind.

It’s a time-out fault – no heat detected in the time allowed. This is not entirely logical if the machine progresses as far as the drying stage before coming up. It is worth checking that the temperature sensor is clipped into its bracket by the soap dispenser, beyond that, it will be some sort of logic error – pcb time.

Power off of you’re going to deal with this yourself.

To be fair, if the appliance is under the 5 year mark, manufacturer service is your cheapest option. I might ask the engineer to check the motor brushes at the same time; they will be well worn and a 5 year old Indesit is a pretty old lady by modern standards. Sorry, it just ain’t very good.

Bosch is a decent replacement choice with the 2 year full warranty, the ISE AW23 is a better spec with a 5 year warranty for comparable money.

The one in the float chamber will……. Usually needs a light chop with a Stanley knife to free off the float.

Take the spaces out and get rid of the “GB”; it works. There’s even a service manual listed – I’ve forwarded it to MIke, but no wiring specs.

    Sorry,
