I think a considered site statement is required in this thread:

I’m probably not the person to do it……..

You need to remove the inner panel from the rear of the oven cavity for access – it is basically a screwdriver job.

Almost certainly the fan oven element gone from your description – you’ll need one of THESE.

Power off if you intend to deal with this yourself.

Latching relay isn’t – you need one of THESE.

Power off if you are tackling this yourself.

Re: Hotpoint TDC32 Dryer – cracked heater element

It’ll probably be alright for a while, but there is a constant low frequency vibration going on in these machines when running, so the mica sheet will eventually move.

Replacement is a safer long term bet. New element IS HERE.

It’s a Brandt, so it’s likely to use a Selni motor – THESE are a good bet.

E10 faults are related to water. Your machine being a washer dryer I would start by checking that the water valve is allowing water to trickle in during the drying phase. Remove lid and observe the square section pipe running across the top of the machine at the rear.

Don’t touch anything before pulling the plug.

You need to establish whether or not power is being supplied to the pump. Due to FORUM RULES, I cannot advise you how to do this.

You can do the drain pump through the front after pulling the transfer pipe out. Pump’s a twist fit, so quite easy.

    Circ pump’s a cavity off job though…..

Re: Indesit WIA 121 PCB fault?

Follow the wiring from the drain pump to the array of mini triacs on the pcb. One of them switches the pump and will have failed in the “on” mode.

They’re available from Radio Spares, Maplins and the like.

Drive it all the way home – you’ll feel it “bottom” in the housing. Seal in on top.
