Very interesting… but also very stupid.
Once I’d cleared his cookies he got the log in page on his computer as well… as did my laptop…[Mrs. P here]
Hm. The actual addresses for the page are quite different between the two computers – mine are a lot shorter. Chris logging out of the administrator function didn’t make any difference… I’ll clear his cookies when he’s finished fighting a spammer and we’ll try again.

OK, links work for me, but Julia’s machine is going to user log in page. If she then attempts to use my log-in, it comes up with “General Error” and “Could not find topic information”.
Doesn’t make any sense to me…..

Flood protection activated. If there’s no water down there, check switch function with multimeter. If it’s OK, it’s an erroneous code, which points to our old favourite, the Indesit pcb.
Power off first if you intend to investigate this yourself.

Do not be tempted to beat the dishwasher with a handy branch – whilst emotionally satisfying, it won’t solve the problem.
On a serious note, power off before working on the machine.
