ParticipantRe: NEFF oven playing up!!
If the cooling fan doesn’t start, the safety cut-out will shut the heat off. Fan cut-in stat may not be working, or the cooling fan may have failed or be caked in accumulated grease.
Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

ParticipantRe: Philips Series 90 Cooker
Series 90 range was late 80’s/very early 90’s. It ws a generic name, not the model number of the appliance.
Look for a tag round the door framing – model number may well start AKG or AKB—.
Don’t get your hopes up too high. 😥

Chiropractor – 20 minutes of legalised torture, then you can take on the world.
I have to do it fairly regularly.

ParticipantRe: Ikea/Whirlpool DWF415 flooding
Drain the tray, get a torch and see what happens…. There are other possibilities, but they tend to be weeps rather than water flooding out.

ParticipantRe: whirlpool ADG 923 pump failure
If a foreign body falls out of the pump chamber when you remove the pump, you won’t need to test the pump. 😀
Otherwise, a resistance check should show 190-240 ohms.

Different part numbers…. There are two different ones for the HNL6166 depending on the serial number anyway.

Spare part is an entire replacement tub assembly.
You have a 5 year parts warranty – paying The Indesit Company their £105 is your cheapest option.

You can access the drain pump by removing the lower cover panel. It’s a twist fit.
Power off first, please.

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS5312GB – electrical problem?
If your original board had actual “blown”, ie, tracks off the pcb, it’s unlikely to be a bad neutral, more likely a bad component.
In descending order of probability:
1/ Mains suppressor – look for sooty deposits around the unit.
2/ Heater.
3/ Soap dispenser solenoid.
4/ Motor/capcitor.Your test meter may not be enough – ideally, all these components should be meggered for earth leakage. If you can track the loom back from the areas of damage on the pcb, you will have more chance of identifying the culprit.
For the benefit of future readers of this thread, stay safe – power off.

Two possibilities:
1/ The black grid in the sump is jammed by fatty deposits. They’re usually pretty obvious (white deposits). If you’re lucky, an old toothbrush and plenty of hot water will clear it by scubing. If not, it’s a twist fit from under the machine if you need full access. Power off first, obviously.
2/ The microswitch on the back of the unit may have failed in the closed position, in which case, you’ll need THIS LITTE CHAPPIE.

Nicely put. The Press have made much of his being the first black league manager, but little of his actual achievements. 53 was far too young.

Have you run it with the door open to check the actual airflow? Failing that, operating thermostat or earth leakage on element?
