The NTC is connected to a little pcb at the bottom at the back. They burn out contacts and thus you lose temperature control – the safeties then do their job and cut-out.

Ask Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk – if he doesn’t know, no-one does.

Keep it in one thread, BTW – you’ve got three on this one problem now.

Re: Diplomat HJA8640 Wash Cycle Problem

It’s a Beko-built machine. You are describing a classic motor failure. The white deposits are caused by detergent escaping through the motor seal. The water has damaged the front bearing, causing the slow running.

Replacement motor is you only option – p/no 1740701300 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get things moving for you.

Take the door outer panel off first, then the control panel. Remove the pcb, clean and refit the buttons, then make sure the pcb is snapped fully home on its clips.

41013142 is an ntc sensor on that one, so it should be doing the work?
41024208 is just a cut-out, suggesting that the temperature control isn’t working. If they’ve tripped, they’ve done their job.

Sorry Agro, it doesn’t read very well.

    “Hi guys,

Anyone had this fault? The compressor fan does not run and the fridge fan doesn’t. Normally, fan at back comes on when the motor runs. The fridge is working ok. Already had the mod kit but the freezer only gets down to -10. Not the module, as i had a spare. Diagosis on pcb comes up with no errors – very strange. Thermal fuses checked. It will just suddenly stop and then defrosts.”

    Hope that will help,

    Chris.

Remove the copper earth strip – this should reveal a screw head through the centre hole in the back of the drum.

    You’ll need THIS LITTLE LOT.

PCB should be in the top right rear corner in a white plastic box. Damage is usually pretty obvious, most notably the connector block at the rear.

Re: Neff Dishwasher – How do I access the Main Pump?

Remove the cavity from the base. Do not turn it upside down.

Lid, side panels, door, lower cover plate, sump screws, salt container ring all have to go. After that, its a screw at each corner of the cavity to lift away.

    Power off, obviously.

    Re: Indesit IDL40 won’t drain

1+2 is no drain detected in the time allowed….. 😀

Bail out the machine, unplug it, and remove the base plate. The drain pump is a twist-fit after releasing a locking screw. Remove foreign object.

Re: Bosch SGV43A03GB pump runs continuously/ refuses reset

Best access is by removing the side panels, so you’ll have to disconnect the fill and drain hoses.

Power off and tip the machine to one side is the easiest way of draining it.
