Grrr – can’t find a part number. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will usually source through a wholesaler if they hold the parts – much quicker. I can only suggest that you drop them an email – their technical info is far more complete than mine.

I think I’d be looking at the fill matrix and associated pipework.

Might be a SMEG – there’s a safety level on the p/sw, so that’s got to be a good bet.

    Re: sgs43a22uk fd8209 bosch overfill

Looks like it’s a timed-fill machine. Fill is set initially by the float tripping and the machine then pumping a fixed amount of water back out. The computer the calculates how long to fill before the float trips.

1/ Did you fit the correct Bosch inlet valve – flow rate is critical?
2/ Is the float free to move, is it the right way up if you’ve removed it for cleaning?

Otherwise, the only control is the pcb. I think there’s a mod – one of the BSH lads may be able to advise on that one.

Sounds like the relay on the pcb is dropping out under load. If the h/p switch wasn’t working, you’d get the blocked filter error.

    Oh yes it is….

    C00115842 – Door assembly.

The only door spare part is the catch kit. If it’s the lug where the pin goes through that’s broken, you can drill a couple of cunning holes and use a tyrap to pull it all back together.

Re: Brandt VF400JU1 wont start – how to reset?

Possible that flood protection has been activated – water in the tray under the machine operates a floatswitch mechanism and over-rides the programming.

Drain tray to re-set – if it does it again, find the leak.

    Power off first, please.
