Fill not detected in the time allowed – flow meter is possibly at fault as there is some water fill; check for low water pressure as well.

No heat in the time allowed. Dead heater or burnt-out wiring at the heater are both possible.

Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

There’s a leak into the tray under the machine. The water is operating the flood protection system (A polystyrene float and microswitch mechanism). Power off, drain the tray and try again. Leave the front lower cover panel off to observe if there is a leak.

Assuming that it’s just the gasket on the cover, you want p/no 4812 466 68495. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to get you one promptly.

If you take more than two minutes to fit it, you’re doing something horribly wrong!

Moved you down to the Oz forum, Mangoe.

There’s a sticky at the top of this forum with the diagnostics info in it – give it a go and see what you get.

Initial thought would be a hot water valve problem.

Programme 5, rather than the running time for 30/40 Mix. As you know, re-set clears it.

It’s a Magnet brand name, so contacting them is probably your best bet.

Re: Servis Tumble Dryer not heating….

That’s not the model number – should be M2—-.

Commonest reason for no heat is the safety tripping on the heater thermostat. Press the red button, then find out why – restricted air-flow is the commonest cause. Crushed/blocked vent hose is a simple startting point.

Power off if you intend to resolve this yourself,
