Condenser valve should trickle in about 1/pt of water per minute. It’s not unknown for the flow restrictor to fall out of the valve outlet and Whoosh! – loads of water running in instead of the trickle.

If the drum support is broken, you will need a complete replacement tank assembly, as it is a sealed unit.
This is not a cost effective repair.

Yup, or you buy some reed switches in Maplins or the like and start soldering…

6 or 7 can be flowmeter. No OWI on this one, just the diaphragm switch. If you’ve got an old moving coil meter, hook that across the flow meter on ohms and see if it pulses. Reed switch failing is pretty common, rather than just the connection issues.

Attention seeker. I can’t put him on ignore, so I read what he writes – it just doesn’t sink in anymore.

If the water is pumping out but the machine thinks it’s still full (ie the pressure switch is holding in the full position), the fault may well be a blockage in the water matrix.

CI592 – Siltal-built machine. Soap hose has almost certainly pulled off the drum. It’s a grommet fitting with a lock ring fitted internally which will need pushing home to lock the hose back on place.
Power off first.

It’s a SMEG-built appliance. The beeps are irrelevant – an error is displayed by the pattern of lights on the 5 LEDs.
However, you are describing a classic corruption issue – have a read of THIS ARTICLE for more info.

Given that there is no available Caple tech info, you have no chance of a right answer to this one. Hook them up and see what happens. It’s only a cheap Chinese job, so got to be worth a punt.
Sorry,

ParticipantRe: Baumatic BDI631 not working (brand new)
Looks like the usual Chinese tat, so it’s probably leaked water into the base, thus operating the flood protection system. Drain it off and it might work. You’ve got a two year waranty on it, so don’t mess about with it too much.
If it’s under 28 days since install, send it back and buy something decent.

Burnt-out solder joint on the pcb is the most likely culprit.

Remove plug, door outer, lower cover panel. Pump is a twist-fit in the front left. Pull the transfer pipe out for better access.

Nope, water softener re-generation unit. Do not mess with under any circumstances……….
Are you basically saying that the machine cycles but doen’t drain? If the sink coupling was choked, there may be a blockage in the rest of the drain hose; the drain pump itself maybe blocked or failed.
