    Re: Amazon Installations?

As we well know from the service side, there is no shortage of fools ready to work for nothing (in real terms) , who confuse turnover with profit . I’m busy , therefore I must be earning . So they will sign up .

Secondly, don’t under-estimate the fickleness/laziness of the consumer . If buying through Amazon means not having to fill out there details again …….. :rolls:

Indeed i did ask them to quote for insuring the business premises/shop as well , separating it out if needed, as i could care less if combined or not .
Was beyond them when i asked though .

No matter ; but i can thoroughly recommend SME Insurance both on price and service. Went from £3400 to £1200 .

Re: Discounted Public Liability Insurance for WTA members

Just got off the phone to them, as they couldn’t be bothered to ring me back with the news they ” don’t specialize in that industry anymore, and won’t quote ” .

He firstly told me they would wait till nearer the renewal date (25/7) before quoting , so glad I chased .

Odd conversation , he was very evasive and keen to get rid of me . It was like i’d caught him looking at porn or something ! Strange .

    Re: Parts prices

1 Connect best prices and availability.

2 Qualtex poor stock availability.(though prices are keen)

3 Stock availability , price and delivery lead times.

4 Connect order goes every other day, Qualtex about once a week.

5 Hold accounts for all suppliers.

The late cut-off used to generate more business for Qualtex.

Every few years I ask my accountants the same question ,’rent’ (in all its many forms) or buy .The answer is invariably “if you want shiny new vans every 3 years or so then rent, but as you keep your vans much longer ,buy.”
Bear in mind our ‘new’ van is six, middle one is nine, and I drive one that’s sixteen 😳

We had a case recently where the water authority made a vets practice remove the ISE ,but were happy to leave the Miele domestics in service. I don’t understand why .

Last year was disappointingly short ,which I understand was by popular demand ,but none the less disappointing for me. Presentation was all over by about 2.30/3ish ? After a long lunch as well .
Whats the plan this year ? Same or back to it being longer ?

The manufactures are busy entering the market and ramping up there own direct selling ,so I wouldn’t hold your breath.
