Hi Wilf the block is disintegrated getting it out was a complete nightmare. The connections are loose and free hanging.

Yes mate, got normal readings on both wash and dryer elements. The PCB and analogue pressure switch have been changed.

When all was considered lost. I had a thought, I got my pliers and pinched the plug on the heater harness on the power PCB. I remembered that I had checked the Heat pump at first through the harness and realised I may have loosened the contacts within the plug. Pinched the plug and 9.79Amps flowed. Happy chappy.

Hi Martin,
NO Heat, Fitted Heat pump but these tend to take the board out with them. Changed the board too, now waiting for it to heat.
I have the clamp meter on and nothing yet. Want to make sure I’ve covered everything and find out how to put on test cycle rather than a whole wash.Profyaffle

Turned out it was the stat, double checked it and one of the terminals was loose, Replaced and tested ok. Just noticed, you’re in Dukinfield, Tameside. I used to live on Cheetham Hill Road, on the Dukinfield side not Staley, Moved to Edinburgh 7 years ago. Thanks for the Advice, worst of all though,. I should have noticed before, pressure of pressing down with probe must have helped make contact.
