Yes it has to be the correct part number to the series of the model. Go onto bosch website to confirm. Had same problem before. All depends on the windings, current the motor is pulling and communicating with the pcb

As Kaibart said. disconnect the dryer element. Low insulation cause pcb to appear dead

“Google said that the door lock is the problem so why are you are you changing the brushes”

I always respond “Get Mr. Google to fix it so the next time and see how you get on”

Or when the customer tells you its a hotpoint washing machine and when you get there it turns out to be a Zanussi.

Found the problem. The is a micro pcb in the diverter valve. Contacts were corroded and the button switch on it also broken. Replaced the button switch and resoldered contacts. No more f6

    Re: Immovable Bosch/Neff dishwashers

Usually these kind of calls, if the dishwasher can’t be removed within 15 mins after we arrive, and there’s an issue with the kitchen, we tell the customer to get the dishwasher removed and we will call back to continue the repair as we won’t accept liability for any damaged kitchen unit or kick board due to an incompetent/lazy kitchen fitter or tiler who do a job thinking that the appliance never has to be serviced at a future date.

Called to fix an Electrolux insight last week. Took the hob off to find a few mouse droppings underneath and the little fella had pulled off the top oven thermostat off the selector switch. She saw the mouse droppings and said “that’s where he has been hiding” and she then proceeded to ask me to help set mouse traps around the house as she was unable to set them herself.

Are all the filters clean in it? Hold 1st and 3rd button switch on while holding, hold until the 1st 3 leds flash. Press the 3rd button which starts the service mode

Try unplugging the ntc and element and see what happens. Came across a whirlpool tumble dryer with similar symptons and it turned out to be the element was causing it

Fixing an integrated dishwasher isnt an issue, however taking an integrated dishwasher out of the fitted unit can be a whole different ball game especially in Ireland where houses and kitchens where just thrown together back in the boom.

Re: At what point does one walk out on a job…..

In fairness if it was an integrated dishwasher i wasnt going to bother pull out the machine, too much time involved!! If he had touched any of the wiring i was going to wipe my hands clean of him,
but the way i saw it yesterday its good customer service to do it and if i had left he would have bad mouthed us for not doing the job.

Martin the phrase how many blondes does it take to fit a light bulb springs to mind in that pic 🙂
