turn off machine. press and hold start button and turn on machine. after a few seconds start light will begin to flash, take finger off start button and then just press the start button once more and it will do its test program.

Thanks Martin. i went out and cleaned outvthe vent hose but highly suspect ill be getting a phone call back about it. will check ntc next time. very little information/fault codes on these

Subs i Had one of these before….if it had a OWI in the sump it maybe that if not its the pcb! with larrys case if your dishwasher is pumping intermitantly (pulsing) it may be the capacitor on the pcb…changing that should solve it

Sorry martin just been a long day full of impatient customers. Ya i read the diagnostic procedure on this site and it fails to go into it when i try it on the machine. Worth pointing out that the door lock straight away when i turn on the machine with me even pressing the start button.

sure why would i megger it if the insulation of the machine is not in question? sure the machine never tripped and there is no earyh leakage. error 5 means a ntc problem, but i measured the ntc and it reag ok but i replaced anyways and still error 5. i presume its the board if its not allowing me into the diagnostics

my apologies…yesterday was first day back from holidays so was very slow getting back into the swing of thing, no i have loop tested the mains ( i dont have the equipment thats in your download) however every other appliance in the workshop works ok and i brought the machine home to see does the same happen and i got the same result so im going to presume its the board?

The clients residense is in the countryside but our workshop is in a town so one would imagine that it should work normally in the workshop. This error code is happening in both locations which would indicate the pcb to me? excuse my ignorance but what is loop testing the mains?

because plumbers have little to no interest in servicing gas cookers and where the domestic appliance man steps in to fix these cookers but because he isnt a plumber is isnt able to do gas training so ye cant fix the cooker. i wouldnt work on a gas cooker unless im qualified! kwatt hit the nail on the head, if it was possible for me to go to another country to get the cert and the cert is legit here too it will enable me to service gas cookers. my whole point is there should be training made available to domestic appliance engineers in servicing gas cookers so they are only qualified in servicing gas cookers and not anything else gas related

no im pointing out thats what is involved hete. no interest iin plumbing, want the gas training for servicing gas cookers. so surely theres training designed for this purpose without being a plumber

not part of the wta. awaiting application. gas training in ireland entails being a qualified plumber which you need to do 4years to become and then you do the gas courses.

thanks nomadpaul. ill try and replace the relays. since you know what f20 is you probably have the full list of codes…any chance you write them up on the fault code thread

whirlpool azc6470 (produced in 2012) condensor dryer. fault f04 which means earthing fault, open thermostat or faulty pcb. if no earth fault or open thermostat change all three “hf115f relays on the board should solve the trick. must reset pcb afterwards to get the dryer operational
