i done one last week the stretch belt had snapped and took some of the harness with it so check harness before quoting on just belt.i was told on this site that it was made by bosch but the zanussi belt i think 1195 fits fine.

i take some of your points funkyboogy re affording the cheap appliances but it seems that if your busy then thats all that matters but if for some reason you stopped being an agent for the budget end company which i also am then what do you repair? if a servis module costs the trade about £100 and a new machine costs £149 i dont think any of us will be very busy. i also have a small shop but i cant compete with £149 i sell a recon for £110.

had this on samsungs defrost heater at fault. does switching off then back on make it fire up if it does prob defrost problem.

hi iadom i have had 3 repaired in the last week or so. one no reset, one same as yours the other was random lights flashing. all 3 have been repaired and have been fit for a few days and all is well. could be a good earner if you can convince cust to spend a few quid.

earth leakage from heater is also very common, disconnect heater and try it belt tension is also common sometimes you can adjust the motor down.
