thanx for the help. the pump unit comes apart pretty easy 2 screws on the side and 13mm nut on impellor and slotted driver other end. the big nut is not part of the lower spray arm you push the sump up from the underside and this locking nut thing from the inside.calling it a nut might be a bit misleading as it is circular with four locating slots, a bit hard to describe but a bit similair to the way the newer zan square askolls fit approx quarter of a turn. the only reason i was asking is the cust says she had not tampered with it so i was not sure how it came loose 👿 .

the neons flashing are 3 and 4 which relates too hardware failure not 1 and 2.pump running and emptying fine.

hi had this fault a lot i move the defrost sensor from inside the evap and tie wrap it too the evap entry after the capillary where it is the fattest never been back to one 😉 .the sensor is generally right next to the heater bringing off defrost too early.

hi all i have worked on tonnes of these and the problem is only cured by replacing the fridge evap cover. the insulation soaks up water and then starts icing up jamming fan etc samsung also recomend changing defrost term sensor (yellow wires) at the same time but there is definetley a modified back panel available hope this helps. 😆

hi flarkey is the ice in the fridge mainly concentrated on the higher part of the back panel or the corner or is it pretty even all over the back panel?.

i changed just the switch before conversion was available and switch burnt out within 8 months.Went back and done conversion a bit shocked when it came but was a piece of you know what 😀 good job as people dont like changing large items like range cookers. 😉

hi the problem sounds like one i have come across in the past samsung have had a slight problem with some of the fridge evap covers soaking up water it sounds like yours has this fault. you need to change the fridge evap cover and defrost sensor.you will probably need aa engineer though. hope this helps.

thanks very much going out tomorrow should be straight forward 😆 .are these fault codes available on this site i have checked known fault codes but none listed for newer machines.
