    Just seen this.
Alexa. The fee paid for a BER on Servis SxxT by GB DARS is half normal. ie.£16 so no profit there but better than going back to do the job for £32.
They “always” leak onto the motor and blw the motor.
Incidentally Beko have just as bad a tub as I have had three with holes caused by coins in the last 3 months and most of their bearings don’t see out the year.
And don’t get me onto their Dish__washers

    Re: Ariston Oven Door

Without all parts of the door intact this would greatly reduce the rigidity and increase the likelyhood of the inner glass shattering too, disregarding the fact of the temperature of the inner glass being dangerous. Better safe than sorry.

Re: What makes door seal rubber turn to grey goo?

I found baby oil and many make-up removing lotions do this( I don’t use them myself, just a sanding block). I always ask when encountering this and normally there is a young lady in the house.

    Thanks,
Looks like the old girl will have to be retired. Shame, 25 plus years, only the second fault and the bearings still as sweet as new. Wish they would make them like this now.

    Re: Creda 37747 Condenser dryer

Going back to Bobokines on 7th Nov,could the stat above the door have any bearing on this prob as I have just heard from a customer who will now be on her 4th stat kit since April and denies not using the cool down period. I have checked all other functions ie. motor speed, clear filters and condenser, she just keeps tripping.
