Had this about a month ago. Tried p/sw, module, heater, teated motor all to no avail. She then got Ariston out and even with their 5 yr parts guarantee they couldn’t fix it so she bought a Bosch off me and is now very HAPPY!!!

    Hi
Look at serial number, if it starts 99 then its 1999, similarly starts 2004……. is what it is and so on.

    Bob.
Don’t tell others how to do their work.Perhaps you take things too seriously. SOMETIMES you have to work on a live machine. I’m still here after 23 years doing this job.

Thanks for that Washtec. I’m due a new phone from Carphone Warehouse so will check it out but is the phone screen big enough to see clearly? I had looked at sat nav systems since my message with a bigger screen.
    Thanks again

If I had a pound for every time a customer wiped the top of the machine I would be a millionaire.
They always do it when you have finished and are ready to put it back under the worktop. Then its wet and you put dirty fingermarks all over it.
“I’ve just put a load on”..ok I’ll come back tomorrow then!!!

Re: Servis washer not spinning without a load

Worked for SUK from 1996 when they started their own servicing and now sub via GB Dars. All machines after the 7 tag module should spin without a load as long as the belt is tensioned. The problem arises when a small load drops during distribute and causes the motor to jerk. It will then keep distributing till the load is even but it if it cant even it out it won’t. There are also problems with pressure switches and pressure pots but the test is…If it won’t spin empty and the belt is taught the problem is elsewhere.
