Still waiting for my first call from this despite having pins in the map. Can’t think they are gas as most of the area is rural with no supply and I get about 1 call a year for it.
    I live in anticipation

Just seen this thread. WHo would want any SUK machines anyway, they are refurbed in Wednesbury and sold on to trade. Best [place would be back to Italy or Spain

    Re: Washing Machine Dimensions

Hi, I am just about to stop diong Beko under guarantee. Bearings and electronics are a very weak point with many going down in the first twelve months and 3 weeks for the parts to arrive. I I were offered one for £25 to sell on I’d say no. I have a reputation to uphold and the risk is not worth it. Like the saying goes ” there is no such thing as cheap and cheerful……”

    Re: Tumble Dryer Help

I would be concerned for the bearings both front and rear doing this. On many makes the front of the drum rests on the front bearings by gravity and to upside down it won the drum being on parts not designed to take the wear. seems a daft idea to me anyway.

And another thing. Servis Uk machines Do love to spin empty providing the belt is tensioned, in fact that is the best way to test them if a customer complaines of no spin,I always say if it reoccurs try it empty before calling again and also after working on A Merloni machines since 1990 I have never seen an element fault cause no spin

    Just an aside.
Servis UK only guarantee their parts for three, yes THREE months so wherever you source has to be better and EMW are the best at service and quality

Stopped doing these under guarantee. Water normally leaks through the motor shaft seal. It sometimes happens on the first use. Cut your losses and get a decent machine ‘cos it will happen again.

Hi, think it’s about time I took the plunge and found out the benefits and cost of joining UKW but have been all over the site and can’t find details of it anywhere. Please tell me where to look.
    Thanks
