…and thanks to all of you council members for putting in so much of your time organising it. It was, as always, a really good day and getting more successful all the time. 🙂

It appears to be to let me know I have access to the Amica Documantation [sp] .
I assume this is kosher. 😉
Jim.
You live in Oldham Jim; yours is halal, not kosher.

£10 added on to the next job for old lady after the son deducted £1.57 from the bill when he sent me a cheque for a fridge freezer repair for ‘spoiled ice-cream’.

We repaired Gordon Burns’ dishwasher a couple of times years ago, and I’ve been to Audrey Roberts and Alan Bradley’s a few times; they’re a married couple.
Got on with them ok until I sold her a new Bosch oven. A few days later she phoned me up at about 7 one evening to say the door had “broken” and was coming off. Tried to explain that it was only the hinges coming out of the supports and I’d go round the next day to put it back on. She was not happy that I wasn’t dropping everything and going straight round. But they didn’t want me the next morning so they must have done it themselves.

I knew that would happen. I weighed in the front panel yesterday; she didn’t want to keep it!
The reason she stripped the machine down was that I was selling her a new graded machine from Roy Waring South and many of the parts were the same, so she was going to keep them. Unfortunately that machine is still at Warings waiting for a motor so they sent me a different machine; most of whose parts aren’t the same.
But no, they aren’t on Ebay yet; I thought this was the first place to try.

Thanks guys; where’s the best place to order this from? I got a part for it a few years ago from ASD in Leeds but they had trouble identifying the model no. this time.

Just been told it’s between 20 and 30 years old! That’s probably why there’s this confusion over the model mumber. But checking.

Getting the customer to check but I checked it this afternon and am sure it’s right. It is at least 10 and possibly about 15 years old.

All my scrap parts get weighed in at Davidson’s Scrap Metal in Broadheath, usually when I weigh in a scrap machine.. I don’t do many drum half changes but there’d be no problem including them.
