ParticipantWe set up an account we ASWO a while back but found their prices well above Maddocks, Qualtex and Connect? So have never actually bought anything from them

ParticipantWe also use Sumup, its the same as Izettle, you pay a one off fee then I think its 1.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on each transaction, been using them for one year now and no issues.

ParticipantMany machines are made in PRC and Turkey and they are both outside of the EU, will they have to comply if this comes to pass?

ParticipantThats the very one!!
Thanks Davescots
ParticipantWe are the same £36.39 connect, £25.75 from Qualtex. Connect I assume sell so much direct to the public now, we may not be as important to them. We always check prices and find we do not order so much now from Connect. Also we check ebay and have found the same parts much cheeper.

ParticipantProblem solved, was a partially blocked pressure tube. Meant to put this in earlier. Hope this helps someone else.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint TDW SF 83b EP (UK)
Turns out to be the motor, really showed up on the test program
Motor from Hotpoint £232.92, Connect £199 + VAT to me.These motors look similar to what’s fitted in some Beko autos.
Not like the good old induction motor prviously fitted to dryers but now a cheep looking permament magnet style with a control board installed.New dryer = £293
I have suggested they get in touch with HotpointThanks again Jem and Dave
