Worth a look at the motor plug as I have seen wires breaking away at the plug connection. This causes a similar problem to what you describe, the jolts.

We used EMW more than QER, we found them more reliable. A shame they have gone

    Update
Turns out there is a fault on the board. Blown track going to fill valve via pressure switch, have repaired the track and now fills constantly. This would be why there was water in the base.
Checked and found the relay supplying the valve stuck closed. I tried but cannot find a relay for this as the marking are unreadable.
Anyone got any lying around or know the part number.
And then to check and see why track blew and also welded relay contacts closed.

    Thanks All

Is it not an issue with draining, intermittent faulty pump, something partially blocking like a colour catcher, maybe blockage in pressure tube?

Hi, just an update for those that helped out. The pressure switch off the motor is I suspect a high prssure switch, it looks has the same appearance of usual switch, round with 3 wires.
I cant really test it as it needs the high pressure of the pump.
I have brought the dw into the workshop and will continue with it there.
Thanks again for taking the time to help

    Hi Jem
    Thanks for replying. Email sent.

Would have thought it would fill tho, even if the pswitch on the side of the motor faulty, I would guess thats the one to supply heater?

A long shot, but maybe worth checking the mains suppressor?

    Hello again

We have done loads of these motors (heat pumps) and the way I described removal is how we do it.
The motor is in the middle yes but with the board out of the way there is more than enough room to do the job. Done 2 this week already.
I can only say how we do it. Good Luck

    Hi

We just remove side panel LHS. rermove control board and disonnect pump and wires to motor and heater. Then prize off band that holds the outlet hose on. Take off rubber mount and ease out the motor. Replace in reverse. Takes about 20 to 30 mins depending on if BI or freestanding.

    Hope this helps

Thanks guys, yes its not the normal one as shown in their diagram, thanks Don.
Guess it must be one fitted by the kitchen fitters. the bottom does slide up and down (not well fitted I may add as screws loose).
I have seen similar but not on a Siemens
Thanks for taking the time to help
