ParticipantBrilliant Dave,, It was actually the yellow that had the earth, which makes sense, the NTC.
Thanksscots
ParticipantThanks for the help, The product code is 31100875.
The reading across them was in Kohms so I don’t think they are door lock.
I suspect its an NTC but not sure if they have 2 NTC’s? as there is one on the front, but that has red wires.
Thanks again

ParticipantI think you are right, does sound like the machine hasn’t registered the water in (reed switch) and overfills. P/switch switches on overfill.

ParticipantWe use Maddocks, Connect and Qualtex. Did try ASWO as others on here rate it but almost everything I compared, was much more expensive
Might have to have another look thanks
Did get an email back saying the pressure switch would be dispatched within 24 hours, so here’s hopingscots
ParticipantYes I also had a look on Google maps, I have sent money to them so fingers crossed. Its a Meile pressure switch and they are so expensive new.
Thanks for replyscots
ParticipantThe part that was supplied was in the genuine elux labled packet, part number 3570700017 which is the part number from the Electrlux site.
I have written to Connect but as yet no reply.scots
ParticipantI accept that theses suppliers have a chance to also supply to the general public, but as in my example, its the price diference which annoyed me. Are we subsidising them supplying parts to the public?
Still awaitting their response.scots
ParticipantHi Dave
Just reading it now, interesting, is this not how the Bosch DW monitor the draining too?
Thanks for this info again

ParticipantThe LG ones are a real pain to do I agree but I have always manged so far taking the front panel off.. The Hoover Candy ones I gave up on and replaced with the wire one with the tightening screw.

ParticipantSorted.
New relay fitted and track repaired, have ran it 4 times and all now ok. Not sure yet as to why the relay welded closed and track blown, its the supply to the inlet valve via a pressure switch?
But seems ok anyway. Thanks to all who replied
