Yes perhaps you should take the money and run, however you may wish to ask your customer to supply you with a written quote from said plumber.

This at least confirms this particular plumber exists and may allow you to have a friendly chat with him about diagnosing and pricing.

Phoned customer back as machine is about two years old and asked her to check how long her guarantee was on this machine.

Although damage to seal was caused by customer and not covered by guarantee I do not want to invalidate it.

She will get back to me.

For some reason a connection from loom to P/Switch had worked it’s way off, so reconnect test on cycle, job done.
