Thanks very much for both your reply’s.

Customer phoned this morning to say she had contacted shop about the problem and they have arranged for a whirlpool engineer to visit at no expense to her.

Good service I would say from a small local family business.

    thanks again lads.

Re: those nasty w/p pumps which leak from the rubber and…

gandh1 tip is a good one, and as Mike says for a short term fix it’s OK for some.

So depending on cutomer’s requirements they can now have a choice, as we all know “the customer is always right?”

If this is the Askol pump fitted to Diplomat (Whirlpool) dishwashers then the replacement pump is the proper one that should have been fitted in the first place.

Have done loads and never any problem and as Steve says it’s only delaying the inevitable.

Don’t know if this will help but I have the reset procedure for the Teka ADW 659FI.

Does your model have five programme selections?, from left,
    Rinse/Hold, Glasses, Eco, Normal, Intensive.

    Let me know.

I like Beko to, most parts not expensive so customer will go ahead with repair.

Re: Is it me OR I’m missing something

Sorry to disappoint you but I do carry various sizes of tupper ware like plastic boxes for bailing out including a very very small jar for the bottom of dishwasher sumps.

Others here will point you in the direction of suction pumps, not expensive but worth it.

    Re: Whirlpool AWZ 7303 Dryer

You may wish to check your washing machine and depending on make the filter.
If it has a filter and it’s not been cleaned for a while then this can cause the clothes to come out not having been fully spun resulting in the tumble dryer not managing to deal with the excess wet.
