Take end of grey drain hose under sink, or in standpipe and drop it to ground level into a bucket. You may have to take of the clip holding the hose halfway up the machine on the back panel to let gravity do the work. The pump may need replacing or there may be an object (coin hairgrip) in it.

Dave have sent info as asked for. Fax machine may have been a casualty of flying brick as i am opening up a chimney breast in lounge! Will have to remove mortar from paper rollers later.
Thanks for the explanation on the subscriber front Kevin. Will get that sorted next week.

The lint has to be cleaned from thr fan blades, heater duct and condensor housing. Stripdown is the only proper way of doing it.

Spoke to Bob and he reckons that there is plenty in with it backfreezing to compressor. Also not being able to switch off compressor could only point to faulty module. Will try once more when module arrives.

    Hi Bob
Customer reports normal operation until today.Upon revisiting Compressor running constantly every thing in fridge and freezer frozen solid. Turned to 0 compressor did not stop but light went out. Ice on pipework coming out of compressor going into evaporator(outside cabinet).Fridge has been regassed By Candy when new. unplugged, powered back up, freezer in defrost and fan and compressor not running as it should. Did not get the post in time for the visit. Can you conclude anything from this?

Oh dear fridge is now freezing again. Looks like i should have replaced sensor. Does anybody know that if sensor is faulty, will the fridge module still switch off if turned to 0. Would like to diagnose before i order more parts. Also is sensor foamed into cabinet or is it easy to fit?

Re: Ariston Margherita AWD12 Blowing cold

First dont just switch off, remove the plug! If house wiring is reversed live and neutral The results could be fatal! I suspect your drier has blown a thermal fuse. This will have happened for a reason. The heater relay on the board could be faulty, the fan may not be turning or there may be a blockage. Best get an engineer to check it. Please feel free to click on the red toolbox on the home page.

    Re: Whirlpool W80 washing machine

Coud be leak, heater, wiring, motor etc. The list is endless. Do not use. Everytime it trips more damage is being done to the machine. Click on the red toolbox on the homepage for an engineer to have a look. He will have test equipment to diagnose the earth leakage fault. Best unplug for now!
