    Yes I know about that channel I used a cable tie to fish down ,I used hair dryer to defrost but I didn’t remove the evap, is it possible a partial blockage would cause it

    I completely defrosted everything the evap, fan and the channel is fine if it was blocked how would air come into the fridge

    Hi Martin , ive seen 2 more of these since same fault flap iced up so it stays closed , i dont know what part to replace doesnt look like anything is wrong with the motor for the flap any ideas

    the board is as clean as the proverbial ,
    did insulation class 2 , 865 mea ohms , tried test post module , nothing so i can deduce module! , now a module is 100 euro i see EMW dont repair these anyone tried repairing these boards

    Hi Dave , i didnt until you said it , i went back and rewired the plug and tested a different socket and ran it , all looked ok for a while but after 15 mins it shut down again and 5 mins later came back to life !!!! any other ideas ?

    sorted it was air temp sensor in fridge compartment , the evap sensor is fitted at the rear, beside the compressor pushed up into the cavity !!!!

    thats the one ,easier said than done though , through the small hatch at the back for the vent cover !!
