If it is filling but the drum is not turning have you checked the brushes?

All wshing machines are left with some water in the sump and pump.it is surprising how much is left after the wash has finished. You could try disconnecting the pump and check it is clear of obstructions.Remember to unplug before you do anything.

There is always a little water left in every machine. From what you say it sounds like you may have something impeding the pump. The only way to check would be to take the pump off and check.PLUG OUT first.

You will need to remove it.Unplug the machine and remove the top.The “hole” will be a rubber hose that leads down to the drum. There is a chance that any object may jam the drum.If the car has already got into the outer drum you may have to call someone to remove the toy.

If you click on search at the top of the page it will give you a link to local repairers.
Unless you are willing to get wet and dirty and dig around the underside of the machine i would recommend calling out an engineer.

To add to my above post the guarantee on ikeas website does not make anything clear as to what is covered. Please double check with them and ask for a copy of the guarantee before you buy so you don’t get a surprise in the future.

I think but am not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} that a lot of Ikea appliances are whirlpool. If the 5year guarantee is for parts and labour it sounds like a good deal. However do check the guarantee carefully before you buy.

Yep,check it at both ends.If your drain pipe is plumbed directly to under sink plumbing it could be a problem there.

    Re: Whirlpool AWG345/4 – Error

If it is only a blockage you should be able to clear it.If you don’t find anything then you could have a problem with the pump, then it would be time to call the calvary.

    Re: Whirlpool AWG345/4 – Error

The black threaded cover is the filter cover.Behind that you will find the pump. The hoses connected to the pump will be from the machine with one hose to drain.Be aware that if you have water in the machine removal of any of the hoses will result in water all over the floor so have plenty of towels handy.
Make sure you unplug the machine before you do anything.
