ParticipantRe: Beko WM5140W Not filling & faulty Pump
The pump is connected to the pressure switch by a small tube.If this is blocked it will stop the machine from filling. If the pump was “full of gunk”there is a chance some of it has blocked the tube.

ParticipantRe: Can’t get the fluff screw cap off !!
Hi leachy, the pump is fixed to the filter housing by either 3 screws or it is a twist lock fit.To remove the whole unit you need to undo the screw at the front of the filter. This will allow you to slide the plastic”kickplate” to the right and remove.Once removed you will see another screw which holds the pump/filter to the machine remove this screw, all the hoses and the cables to the pump and the whole unit can now be removed for cleaning.Just reverse sequence to replace.
Remember to unplug machine before doing anything.

open the door and hold the inner metal drum at the 12o’clock position and try to lift it.If there is any movement up and down the bearings will need changing.

ParticipantRe: Can’t get the fluff screw cap off !!
Hi,don’t try forcing it as it will snap off. This is normally caused by debris jammed between the pump and filter.Unplug machine and tip back 45degrees if you can get someone to hold it,if not rest back against the wall. From underneath the machine you can now access the pump behind the filter.Have plenty of towels handy and disconnect the hoses and remove filter housing/pump.You may have to remove the pump from the housing to clear any debris.
Once clear the filter should be easy to unscrew.

ParticipantRe: Samsung J14535 – Error 4E
Hi,the link you have provided to samsung is in my opinion slightly misleading.
Error 4e is a water supply error but can be caused by other things.
Your symptoms point to the pressure switch which if working correctly would stop your machine overflowing.
Also 4e can be caused by the pressure switch failing to detect the rising water level(or no water entering the machine).
It could also be caused by a hole in the tubing from the pressure chamber to the pressure switch.
Unless you are feeling competent and confident I would call an engineer.

ParticipantRe: Hoover HNL7146 Noisey spin
If it was coins the noise would be constant even without clothes in the machine. The added weight of the clothes is putting pressure on the drum and therefore the previous diagnosis from Martin is the more likely.
Also it is unlikely that any coins would stay”trapped” as they always find a way to the bottom and the sump hose.
You can if you wish disconnect the sump hose and take out the heater this will allow you more visibility into the tub.
Unplug before venturing into the machine.spanishwhite

I think F6 is “no motor movement detected” worth checking the carbon brushes.

ParticipantRe: easilogic 1100 – can’t get the filter unscrewed
You will probably have a hair grip or similar jammed in behind it.Unplug machine and disconnect the pump from it’s housing. This will allow you to clear any blockages and then unscrew the filter.Have some towels ready to mop up any water.

ParticipantRe: Beko washing machine
Normally I would suggest that the tacho coil or magnet had failed. However as you have fitted a brand new motor that should not be the case.
There is a possibility that the pcb was damaged by your previous fault.spanishwhite
ParticipantRe: eurotech Practica 550 A+
A common problem in Spain. Most of the names on appliances mean nothing as they are imported in their thousands rebadged.
Most major supermarket groups like Alcampo,Eroski and carrefour will sell exactly the same machines but with different names on them.
It would be a lot easier to translate the manual than to try and match the machine with a well known brand.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF000 problem – is it fixable? Or worth fixing?
The machine is indicating a communication error. No easy fix,if the connectors to the cicuit boards are tight then you will need an engineer.
Whether you use hotpoint or an independent is your call.
As to whether it is worth fixing there are numerous posts on here highlighting the poor quality of electronics from certain manufacturers.spanishwhite

Classic symptoms of carbon brush failure.Unplug the machine and have a good look at the motor brushes.
