I know I’m showing my ignorance. But can you explain what you mean by ‘weigh it in’ TX

Thanks for the info Colin. I went back and noticed that the bottom spray arm has detached itself from the base. So I will try that first

If its not a blocked heater, or the jets blocked, I would check that the piston in the smart valve is moving OK. If it is dislodged and fully down, that can cause your problem.

    K.

It seems to me both the seller and the buyer are ‘customers’ of paypal. And its the seller who pays all the fees, so there must be a good reason to even accept a paypal payment.

    Just my take on it.

Re: Santander free business banking to end

I had a call from Barclays last month offering me free banking. The only problem was that they charge for deposits of cash, or cheques. When I added it up, it would be more than I now pay at Lloyds.

Its a bit like someone offering ‘free call outs’, but still charging for something else.

    Re: Misleading?

If a charge is made to attend a customers machine then what you call the charge is irrelavent ( call out, labour, inspection, diagnostic, etc ) I think people are stupid as to think anyone will call to their machine for nothing.

I do find when I used to advertise ‘No Call Out’ ( I dont now ) people would think it meant no charge atall, which is possibly what the OP was questioning?

I think the 6166 is the model with the lcd display in the middle, and it plays tunes when it finishes. So the board I have wont fit. Sorry

Which board for which model. I have got a couple of s/h ones. A new one from Armstrongs is probably going to cost you £500ish

    Re: bank direct debit advice

I used to have insurance on my sky box which I paid by direct debit. I cancelled it when I got sky +, as the new box was guaranteed. This was a couple of years ago. The insurance company kept phoneing every couple of months wanting me to insure my box again, I always said no. Then suddenly the dd payment started again, So I when straight to my bank to complain about an unauthorised dd payment. The payment was refunded back to my account the same day.

So I would go to my bank and tell them to sort it out, and not be fobbed off by them saying the health club is responsible.

    Re: Prima LPR600/1

I went to a Prima D/W today. Same model, Same fault, Same rattle from the wash pump, and I found this thread using search. So I will be quoting for a new wash pump (insert joke here). Does anyone know why a faulty pump should cause the machine to abort the programme and stop? Thanks

    Thanks Bob
I’m going to try the test prog, and replace the NTC leads. The one I found broken had been rubbing on the tub, (probably since new)
