    Re: Huebsch washing machine.

These machines use the old fashioned style dog clutch on the drive pulley, so make sure the pulley is free to slide up the shaft. It could be a gearbox fault, but its a rare fault.

These motors don’t step up, as they run at full speed straight away

Have a look at the sticky ‘Diamond H Wiring Reference’. It should tell you what you want

That p/n looks to be the right one. To fit it properly you’ll have to remove the cabinet, then its only a couple of screws

    Re: AEG L16830 W/D

I went back to this machine and the dryer elements were OK, I was getting 70Mohms. I did manage to access the diagnostic mode and got an error code E5C. Which means ‘Inverter Board Defective’ (master voltage too high)

Not sure how to test master voltage so I quoted for a new inverter board.

Not a stock item for Connect or Masterpart, but at the AEG eshop it was priced at £155.00. It made a repair cost of over £200.00 which my customer declined.

    Thanks for your reply

    Some guy phoned me today
Can you replace the terminal block on my built in ceramic hob
ME; yes I can. What make and model is it
    I’ll phone you back
He rings back with the make and model
Me; I’ll have check my stock when I get back to the workshop, and give you a ring.
I can drop it off to you mate, as i’m not often in.
Me; As I work from home I’ll call and collect it.
OK mate I’ll disconnect it for you.

30 mins later he rings and says:- ‘Dont bother mate, I’ve dropped it and smashed the glass’

I had a customer phone today. He wanted me to make his built in oven smaller so he had more cupboard space. !

    No.

    K.

I ordered a Whirlpool t/d roller shaft from espares, and it took 3 weeks to come as it was backordered. Connect were out of stock as well, but espares were cheaper. I received it today and on the packet it said ‘In case of non delivery, please return to Connect Distribution Ltd’

So I would assume espares is now owned by Connect.

    interesting
I got the fans from JLA, the 31001317, quoting the model number. They didn’t mention about 2 shaft sizes. Thanks MDE and eastlemark

    Hello MDE
I know this is an old thread, but I have had exactly the same problem. 3 fans this year on the same machine

My question is, did fitting the jubilee clip solve the problem?. Thanks
