ParticipantRe: Redundant in Hampshire!
A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since twelve of us lost our jobs just over a year ago, but what a result I have to report…& I’ll keep this short!
February 2008 saw the whole of the old Link team congregating at an Employment Tribunal in Southampton to fight our cause. Guess who didn’t turn up? We were all interviewed individually and on completion of the tribunal, awarded redundancy, loss of wages, unfair dismissal and notice payments depending on personal circumstances.
This award had to be applied for through the appropriate Government organisation and I’m happy to report that we have all been substantially recompensed from the National Insurance Fund.I would like to thank those individuals who burnt the midnight oil between September 2007 & December 2007 searching for information that eventually brought this episode to a conclusion. The next time you look at your pay statement and observe how much national insurance you have paid, a proportion of it has probably gone to someone who has been let down by their employer!

ParticipantRe: REDUNDANCY ROGUES
Like my colleagues, I to would like to express my distaste of what happened in Bournemouth on 22 August 2007 by my previous employer. I shall refrain from naming any of the directors involved just in case I jeopardise the outcome of my employment tribunal that is due very soon.
I understand that there may be two or three sides to this case, but let me inform those individuals who wish to sit on the fence on this matter…
These Directors have broken the UK’s Employment Law and for some reason think they are exempt from their responsibilities to their employees. Dismissing their nine engineers & three administration staff without wages, notice or holiday pay is against the law & will be clearly seen as Unfair Dismissal by any Court in the land.
When I win my tribunal, I shall use every penny I have in savings to pursue the recovery of what you & your family owe me Bazil.

ParticipantRe: Wirlpool ADP 5962 – Flashing Start button
Hi Tryer,
Flashing 4 LED’s indicates a drain failure on your appliance.
Possible new drain pump required or blocked. Check drain hose isn’t blocked where it attaches under sink. Switch off appliance before investigating.

ParticipantRe: wpool adl347
I had a problem with a whirlpool DW door popping open recently.
It hadn’t even been used and installed by kitchen fitters in a new house. They had adjusted the feet too much and distorted the cabinet slightly underneath the worktop. Reduced the feet a couple of turns and door shut without further problems…

ParticipantRe: Embarrased or what
I put my size ten in feet first last year. Started chatting to this mature guy in the kitchen while working on a tumble dryer. Heard a baby crying upstairs and not long afterwards his wife arrived in the kitchen with a sleepy looking child. Without thinking I asked how often the Grandparents looked after their granddaughter. All the time came her reply… We’re just late starters.
Didn’t think the time was right to enquire if they were planning a second!
