All you can do is report your findings on your receipt, and advise that it should not be used. Disconnect it from its power source if you feel it is that dangerous. If they decide to use it after that, then that’s there choice.
As part of our report/invoice pad we record PAT and earth loop impedance readings.

I have raised this point with reps every time they phone to ” see if everything is ok” the problem is there site is so easy to navigate and search for parts, plus there stock range is a lot larger than the likes of MP and Qualtex. They need to catch up with there sites and stock range IMO.

I do still get a lot of calls where husband has started repair but got stuck. So we go out to save the day.

According to the rep I finally spoke to, the machine looks for the strongest signal and uses it, if you are in a black spot you need to do it as customer not present when you get to a signal.

To date I have now had 3 reps visit. The first 2 told some whoppers the third seemed to be better informed. The £10.00 mmsc still stands and isn’t £10.00 spend but £10.00 worth of charges. I haven’t decided which way to go as another company has offered similar rates, 12mths contract and no mmsc.

There’s no tool on the market then? I’ll have to put my inventors hat on.

I’ve been doing a few commercial machines until I was told that they come under pressurised vessel regulations for which a qualification is required and the owner needs to have them tested for soundness.

I asked the rep about this and it’s £10 worth of charges that need to go through not £10 spend.

    Built in/under problem

Do the shelves in the tower cabinet go back to the wall? If yes she will need to cut a section out of every shelf including the base and top and as Ian says put a vent in the plinth to allow air flow. Because built under ovens are smaller than built in she will also need to make up up 180mm with a filler panel, a vent could be put here but not as nice to look at.
