    Hi Steve,

I will keep to 20 minutes with the option of extending this as long as you need by having questions or expanding the talk on the day as needed.

I will sort £200 from the following towards your costs, Swift Electrical, Bosch, Indesit, GDHA. I.E. £50 from each. This will come from the Swift Electrical advertising support budgets for each brand, so you can still ask any of these companies for support directly if you wish.

I will ask Paul Harper and Simon Beard – our Central ASM to join us.

    Regards

    Malcolm

If the drum is twisted slightly, I take it is this not noticable from looking through the door and to check the gasket is sitting right?

Preventative measures will have to remove the lid on every install.

The back suspension leg comes adrift/gets twisted in transit if they’re a bit rough and pushes the back of the tank up and to the left (from the front), meaning that the tank sits too close to the SD.

The rear spring may also be a bit too strong and needs “adjusted”. 😉

    K.

How can legs get twisted if transit bolts are still in place:?:

Is it the engineers who installed them are throwing them about after bolts are removed 😆 😆

Can we check and see which versions are affected?

Perhaps we could list them to see?

There are two 1145243 and 45243086 this one has had changes made to it whether it is related to drum space?

I know some manufactures suppliers have paid for lunch / food etc at past meetings.

As a matter of interest; do they offer to sponser the day or do you ask them?

With the long list of other suppliers coming; have we got space for a short presentation.
I think he is interested in doing a quick talk ❗

Have we got an agenda yet ❓

How much time can we give them ❓

Does the fan oven still heat when the fan stops, or does the whole oven shut down?

Unless you are confident about undertaking this repair; suggest you get in touch with your local repairer.

Dont forget to isolate mains supply ❗

If you have no circuit between the element terminals then its faulty.

The interior light cover will either be a screw thread glass cover or twist fit.

They can be tight to undo, suggest using a pair of marigolds to get a good grip to remove.

Make sure you isolate befor carring out any work ❗

    Hi Guys

I have had a reply from Malcolm Scott Commercial director, see his email reply below.

He is prepared to do small formal presentation if we want and also wants to know list of members to know which area mangers it will benefit.

I would imagine its a general mix?

What would you like me to tell him?

    Hi Steve,

As Chairman of the KBSA (Kitchen and Bathroom Specialists Association) http://www.kbsa.org.uk I am always keen to support any industry trade associations and will be happy to come along on the 24th of September. While Swift Electrical have a full freestanding appliances offering, we are also experts on built in appliances. I am happy to come along and meet people, or to do a few minutes of formal presentation about Swift specifically or the built in market generally – what ever suits the format of your day. If it is of use, I am happy to bring along one or more of our Area Managers. Could you send over a members list to enable me to work out which Area Managers would benefit most.

We offer a fitting service to our house builder customers – all sub contracted to local fitters and we do sometimes get asked for spares, so looking at your web site, there may be quite a lot of opportunity.

    Regards

    I have invited Swift Electrical.

They have a large range of appliances especially on the Amica?

They are interested and will confirm if they want to just watch or promote the services.
