Do you have a list or know which of the 3000 service stations these cards are accepted by?

As other fuel cards that we have enquired with in the past are only accepted in limited stations and you have to drive several miles to fill up, so the savings you make are lost.

    Timer (HVR91201337)

Usually find it the contacts inside not connecting properly, some of the earlier timers you could take a part and clean, but for the sake £13 try a new one.

    Guys

    Dont shoot the messenger

i just recieved this via email and thought it may be of interest 😳

I only put it on the forum for any one to read you dont have to send it.

I know it is not the petrol companies making the money, its the goverment fault taxes in this country are so high, yet we do nothing about it just sit and take it. Nobody is prepared to make a stand.

What do you do, I had a letter from John today about the cost of fuel and he is trying to absorb the extra cost in the ISE machines but you can only do it for so long then you have to start to increase your cost and pass them onto the customer. 😕

LE Code is LOCKED MOTOR ERROR Direct drive motors

3 pin connector to the hall sensor, connected onto the stator asembly.

Check for loose connections to the sensor.
Hall sensor not fitted in properly or is defective.

If bearings are worn I have found that the slight drop in the drum alignment can cause this.

    THE ERROR CODE CAUSE

The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the LEAD WIRE ASSEMBLY
is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of
    STATOR ASSEMBLY.
    Reconnect or repair the connector

the LEAD WIRE ASSEMBLY and 4-pin, female, natural in the
MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.
Reconnect or repair the contact in the connector
    • The LEAD WIRE ASSEMBLY between the STATOR ASSEMBLY
and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open circuited).
Repair the damaged (open-circuited) the LEAD WIRE
    ASSEMBLY
    • The hall sensor is out of order/defective.
    Replace the STATOR ASSEMBLY

    Re: Warranty cards

The excel one is the better one to use as i find i can save the copy fully filled in with customers details to the computer and email it.

The pdf one does not allow you to save it, so you have to always print it.

    Re: crack in hob

    Thanks for all your comments,
Going back tomorow to see her and asses the situation.

As i said its a rented property and anything could have happened between then and now. It was safety tested as she required a test certificate on the all the appliances in the kitchen.
I have done many ring changes on this type of cooker, only 4 screws the whole top frame and glass come off you place upside down on a towel job done.

Martin in this situation by fitting one part would you guarantee 10 year old+ cooker including any glass costing over £150 even if you had checked it and found it looked ok after repair, only to get a call a few weeks later saying you must of damaged it as you touched it last?
Come on, if it happened same or next day then prehaps i would take a different view.

As Ken said it would always be your word aginst hers in any situation unless you recorded it but i did not have anything to record as there was no problem!!.

So now we have to start logging and taking pictures on every job, which is difficult at the best of times you would not have seen any flaw or damage in the glass in a photo, possibly even difficult to see it with the naked eye if the hob has a few scratches on it especially at this age.

Even getting the customer to sign and say that they are satisifed with the repair is not a get out of jail free card, I am sure this would not be legal document, as this would just be a way of an excuse of having no responisibility for work you have done.

You have to trust that a customer is not going to find any reason to get something for nothing which in this day and age is very difficult that is why if i did see any problem with the glass or damge to worktops or other problems especially on older appliances, then i would have definatly point it out at the time. I dont want a customer trying to claim on my insurance or expecting a free repair, customers do try it on as you all know.

I will let you know the out come later.

Re: Bosch wfb2000 no mt problem

I had one like that, it was a 5p floating around in the tub, went a couple of times everytime would work when you pump and spin only, checked hoses and pump could not fault it and even changed pump again then found this illusive 5p in the end.
