Re: BOSCH stacked dr/wash – wash does not stay in place on s

The washer is installed on the hardwood floor

Nearly always the cause of excess vibration. Keep legs as short as possible.

I have seen customers stand their m/c’s on paving slabs to solve the problem 😉

Best tell your customer to call BSH as it will still be under guarantee.

More than likely frozen evaporator, there are a few “problems” shall we say that can cause this.

08705678910 is the number for BSH.

also bringing both modules as well

Really annoys me when call centre tell punters things like that, cos they don’t know if the part is in stock or not. Therefore we get it in the neck when punters say “they said you’d have the part with you” 😡 .

As for the fault I’d agree that it’s probably a control module fault. Assuming that there is a 240v supply from socket. But a previously stated these are a bugger of a m/c to fault find on.

It will have a full two year guarantee regardless of registration.

Customer just needs to show purchase receipt to the engineer.

seal strip to be fitted to the multiflow in the back of the fridge!

Not all KGN’s are affected :nono:

As for the WVF coming from China, news to me. I’ve worked on quite a few now and never seen any Chinese markings on any of them, and the parts are in the same old boxes they’ve always been in :con:

I assume that the fan is running ok, this problem is nearly always related to fan either running slow or not at all.

BTW if memory serves the original element will have been either 2 or 2.2kW.

If there are no hinge carriers on it, then the frame is twisted and unrepairable.

As a BSH engineer it takes me 10 mins.

A non-Bosch or an engineer not familiar with the appliance may take longer.

    Does that clear it up.
