    Re: Bosch KGV3120GB/01 Switching Problems

The repair is NOT expensive. A competent engineer will have the job done in under half an hour.

Seems mad to chuck the unit for such a minor/simple job.

😕 Why do that, the by-pass kit takes all of ten minutes to fit and costs very little 😕

Try a search to find all the relevent info.

Again power off if having a go yourself :zap:

Access to sump hose is not gained from inside the tank.

The furniture door, door skin and lower panel need to be removed. There is a possiblity that the pressure system will also need attention.

If this is the case then the whole m/c will need to be removed from it’s housing and side panel will also have to be removed.

You will need a torx T20 screwdriver bit, and possibly an engineer to use it 😉 .

If you are going to dive in power off please :zap:

Re: SIEMENS WIQ1430 Wont Spin, Washes Okay

Will it spin with no load in the m/c ?.

To be honest with you this is a seriously complex m/c and it may be worth getting an engineer in to look at it, as it may prove costly just throwing parts at it.

One other thing are there any fault codes displayed at all?.

Does it pump out?. If not have you checked the pump and filter?. Check your instruction book, it tells you in there how to do it 😉 .

Also if the m/c connects to the sink waste, check for blockage in there too.

Still, now you have the pleasure of doing Hoover tub changes instead

No, as previously stated in this thread, we won’t be doing tub changes on them 8) . They will be written off. As for the Tecnik tub, it’s not shown as a spare any more in our tech info, therefore part unavailable.

Apparently we were advised by somebody at Tecnik that it was a two man, four hour job not to be done at customers house. As you know we are all homebased so nowhere to do job anyway.

    PS:Have BSH dropped Gorenje

Yep Gorenje has been dropped. There is a thread on here about it somewhere.

    Re: BSH fixing Gias

It was bad enough doing a tecnik washer/dryer tub change.

    😕 😕 😕

Why where you changing Tecnik tubs?

They too are a write off, never changed one in 8 years and never will. 😉

BSH are usually pretty lenient, and may do a deal on the spares

You WILL need your purchase receipt to show to engineer. At best I would guess you may get 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} off the price of the part as things have tightened up considerably lately.

fill system is just a basic flow meter type

Do you mean the circular “impellor jug” in line with valve and side chamber?.

If so I would be almost 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain that it aint functioning correctly 🙂 .

I’m sure if you have a word with Gegsy he’ll be able to e-mail you a copy of the coding instructions 😉 .

    Unfortunately I never keep them.
