Re: BOSCH SGS43A12/42 Program times way out.

The times have nothing to do with the cutting into the wiring and fitting the connector.

It’s all to do with the CODING for the module.

There should be a seperate sheet in the box telling you how to do it.

To think I started to for BSH as I thought I’d only be working on decent machines :rolls:

No problem. However if the fault re-occurs then I would think about calling an engineer.

Yup, the s**tal has gone the journey apparently 😀

Has been replaced by the candy. I know BSH MAN went on the training course last week.

Supposed to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} better quality than the s**tal and that horrible smeg thing. I certainly hope so 😉

Just wait till one of our resident BSH guys is faced with doing a bearing job, then it should get hillarious.

I’ve heard that if bearings go, it’s a write off. what a pity 😆

Try a complete defrost. Basically turn off and leave for around 24 hours.

17 minutes left. The dry cycle is about that long. Would also fit with it completing a quick prog, as there is no dry cycle 😉 .

Normal to have to turn off to re-select another programme after resetting if memory serves 😕

Sounds like customer thats faulty to me.

Pretty easy job TBH Jim (the dryer).

Back panel comes off. Then remove screws around “shiny” panel, There’s also one more on the main back panel bottom left.

But you’re right it can slice your fingers if not careful 😈

    No contest.

    Vented every time.

    More efficient and quicker.

If as I suspect it’s still under guarantee then ring BSH Appliance Care on 08705 678910.

Don’t open anything up yourself, or your guarantee will be void.

Was there by any chance a boiler in the same room?.

I’ve had the same problem on a few of our machines. And there has been a boiler in the same room. Dunno why it happens though 😕

Normally takes at least 5 mins, normally more before it actually starts heating properly.

Amazing how quick the site runs at this time of day 😀

Just wish I was back in bed though 😥 . Instead of waiting for a new hard drive for the laptop.

    Guaranteed between 06:00 and 07:30.

    We shall see.

Re: Bosch washingmachine. I have confused the electronic pro

I agree with Greg, it may well be something simple like an out of tolerance ntc.

Or on the other hand, it may be the expensive pcb option 😥

As for Martins theory about re-coding the module, don’t think that is possible. I certainly have never done it in 8 years working for Bosch.

I think the best option would be to have an engineer look at it, then decide what to do.

But does BSH = Bosch ?

    Bosch Siemens Hausgerate. 😉

Is there likely to be a call out charge ?

Nope, no call out charge if the fan unit is faulty.
