    Re: Miller Bros…… administration?

Yup, just had an e-mail from head office saying that we’ve not to touch Miller Bros policies with IGI.

So there will be alot of disgruntled customers out there.

    Re: Bosch Flood protection activated.

Sorry for the questions but i’d rather just leave it than risk damaging something.

Probably best idea is to bite the bullet and call in an engineer in that case. No point having a D/W sitting there doing nowt 😉 .

Apply some silicone grease to all the moving parts of the ignition bar, that should sort the problem 😀 .

Call an engineer, as it sounds like the transmission/tub seal has gone.

    Definately not a DIY job.

Re: Bosch Condencer Dryer Small Belt Change

    Pretty easy job actually.

Remove main belt, and front fan blade. At the rear end of the motor is a plastic handle that holds the motor in place. Remove the wires to motor then pull handle out.

Hey presto the motor can then be removed, allowing the new belt to be fitted. Been awhile since I had to remove a motor so there may be a few extra steps involved, but it’s an easy job if memory serves. 😉

    Re: Miller Bros…… administration?

Two major Miller Bros stores round here sold off their units. I know the ex-manager very well, he told me awhile ago that Millers were very close to going under.
Apparently the offer for the units was so good the company decided to just cash in.

If all the above are ok, check the hose from the pump to the water container for fluff.

I’m a tad annoyed that Leeds didn’t come up as we don’t get our 1.8 million for MICHAEL RICKETTS 😆

DO NOT CARRY OUT ANY FURTHER LIVE TESTING, PLEASE!!!!

I very much doubt it has anything to do with the fan at all. To be honest it’s probably best to contact an engineer. See the big red toolbox on the left.

This m/c will not require the mushroom mod. As the fault was picked up long ago by the factories and the new style mushroom and pcb are now factory fitted.

However the water level should not get above the mushroom without bringing the pump in. If you turn m/c on then manually lift the mushroom does the drain pump run?.

    i.e. just out of warranty

Not so 2 year guarantee with m/c. However you may want to hide any signs of your efforts. As guarantee will be void.

Spent two hours trying to do exatly that!!!!!!. It is nigh on impossible, three times the little bastard just disappeared into the drum 😈 😈

BTW got the horrible m/c written off today as unrepairable 😀

If you ever get one of these awful god forsaken things, just write it off. It really isn’t worth the agro!!!!
