    If your buying panasonic, avoid one that has an inverter in it (it will normally say it on the door).

    Hi, inverter approx £80-90 magnetron £40-50, it may turn out that you require both.Due to high voltage :zap: stored within the microwave you should under no circumstances attempt repairing yourself.

    If your microwave has ‘Inverter’ written on the outer door, then the probable cause of fault will be the Inverter or the magnetron or both.If it is the Inverter then this will probably be uneconomic to repair, but the only real way to find out is to have an engineer to look at it(under no circumstances should you attempt repair yourself). You can try the repairs@ for a engineer in your area.

    Try giving Miele a call, They supplied the parts for an Imperial oven that we had to repair.

    I think it’s that time of year again! I’ve noticed this week how much quieter its been. Let’s hope it doesn’t last too long.

    First port of call is to establish if the brush roller is rotating? if it is, check for any blockages that may be apparent and ensure that the filter is clean.If that doesn’t cure the problem, you may need to replace the cyclone top.
