Don mentioned “The modification kit which is now available to fit” reference the Bosch polinox dishwasher tank problem. Wondering if anyone knows the part number for the kit. Also any has used it & how well it works. Any replies appreciated.

Thanks to Don & Bobhope for replies. The drum does split ok. The bearings are standard enough; the seal may be another matter. buying a drum and rear tub half will likely be expensive! Any idea who could supply them.

    Re: electrolux EDH3386GDW dryer

    Thanks for reply Dave,
Just for interest this is where I’ve got to..
The lcd display is permanently dead.
However the led indicators for Buzzer, Delay, Time & woolen options do operate ok.
At present the start/pause sensor is responding. This was after checking the operation of the float and pump area also the door switch. I suspect that it was not pumping the water but no clear fault was identified.
While the start was failing to respond its light was flashing continuously at a not very fast frequency.
The light remains constant alight when it starts up.
Latest report: It has managed to complete two full drying cycles. During this operation it was paused & started several times.
A replacement display board is available for £78.00 but I am reluctant to go with that until sure that there are no other problems.
Will test again tomorrow & if all ok will speak to customer.

Did you notice if the water is warm when it stops? If glass is cold to touch could be a possible heater / heating problem.

Thanks for quick replies. I’ve got a potential customer & want to be sure of the facts. May offer extended warranty as there seems to be plenty of early drum failures around not confined to any particular brand..

    Thanks for your attention.
Customer has gone for a new one; repair far too expensive.
She knows that she should have had it looked at sooner as it was noisy for a while!

    Re: zanussi zde 47100 dryer

The “Diagnostics prog” I was using.
    Program selector @ off.
Press & hold start & option button to its left.
Now move program knob 1 click clockwise while holding buttons until led lights begin to flash. Then release buttons.
Turn selector 9 more clicks clockwise without stopping.

The light in the Start button was found to give 1 red flash then 1 green flash.
I have now found by moving the knob backwards a variety of tests seem to be carried out at various setting points. including heater operation. Also different patterns of flashing light codes are indicated.
Hoping someone can help with more information regards interpreting the indications.

Re: BEKO DCU 8230 No heating

Thanks to Wilf & seamy for quick replies.
Not feeling too smart here as when I got to work on it I found the Condenser very blocked up so very little airflow to heater. Customer didn’t know it needed cleaning.
Thorough wash out & all seems well at the moment.
A case of expecting the worst before I got there; crossing bridges before getting to them.

Re: BEKO DCU 8230 No heating

Just wondering if you found the solution of this problem.
I’me working at one that heats for about 1 minute at the start of any program setting including timed. For the rest of the time it goes cool air.
It passes all tests Using the diagnostics procedure.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks for reading.

    Re: Beko OIF21300B (single oven)

I’ve got an oven with this problem, fan blade catching the element.
It is clearing the newly replaced element but only just.
The motor needs replacing too but is supplied without the circulation fan blade.
Noticed Seamy’s post with part number— 081581800.
I am finding that this comes as a belling fan motor but no circulation fan is shown.
I have belling circulation fan blades in stock but they are quite a bit smaller than the original Beko.
I ‘me wondering if you were referring to a blade a bit nearer the size of the beko but the there was an error in the part number supplied.
Thanks in advance for any replies / comments.
