ParticipantDave thank you for your reply. The Commercial code I have is AQ328230000 and serial number is 87 100236. There had been a main oven element failure that took out the thermostat and function switch so I may have missed something. It is a fair age but not had a lot of use so customer would like to keep it going. if you have any relevant info that would be good.

ParticipantI have had a look at the old ones and they are identical. They look impossible to fit too. I have another machine with a busted tub but hopefully “good” drum so may do a swap but really far too much work involved. I think I will be wiser next time I encounter this scenario.
TomTom
Participantshould have said drilling a smal hole in the top of the tub!
Tom
ParticipantThe old ones came off ok as tabs were mostly broken just the screws were holding them in place. The front screws could be accessed through the sump hose hole but I don’t know how the rear screw could have been accessed without the drum being removed. Wondered about drilling a small hole at the top of the drum to allow access and then filling with epoxy when new ones in place. Of course this does not solve the real problem of getting the new one into place even with the drum removed. I am wondering about the possibility of softening the nose of the lifter without permanently deforming it.
Thanks for your comments Dave.Tom
ParticipantAfraid that was going to be the the case. Your response is appreciated.

The 85 degree toc listed by spares supplier matches the exhaust toc. Also have found a blue spot hotpoint at 130 degree.Tom

ParticipantThank you Dave.
My question should have asked “If there is a drain where exactly is it located”?
I didnt spot a drain hole and wasn’t sure if american fridge freezer system of cold air cooling was supposed to cause condensation in the fridge compartment. Excuse my lack of knowledge.Tom
ParticipantThanks Dave, Just seeing your response.
I dont have many faulty boards with LG.
Sold new machine to customer — they wouldnt take another LG mind you.
Best regards,
TomTom
ParticipantThanks Dave. That does look helpful.
Actually the cooker i’m dealing with is a Zanussi ZCE7701X P No 948522079 S No 24200280.
I’m replacing the thermostat and have the sheet but it isnt very clear. I have the oven working via the new ET51 stat but not programmable through the timer.
Am I correct in thinking the ET51 has the switch incoporated instead of being external as on the ET46TH?

ParticipantI know this is an old post but if the diag is available it may help me get one of these sorted.
Many thanks in advance.
TomTom
ParticipantThank you for quick response.
Changed the motor all is now good.
At first i couldn’t see the two boards but there is a board within the motor.
Two test washes completed without a problem.
Thanks again.
