    NO the “brown sugar ” is the water softener part of the system,
    posibily the safety part of the water inlet valve has triggered stopping water from entering machine and needs to be drained. And the reason for this has to be found. There is a small tube at the back inside at bottom right of machine looking from rear that will need to be drained..

    POWER OFF WHEN WORKING ON MACHINE AND PLUG OUT OF SOCKET

    You have to take the clamp right off the tub to be able to release the back half of tub

    Has this got a selector switch in front of thermostat ? have not seen this oven yet problem is that the oven fan only works in defrost position ,when switched to heat only the element comeing on

    Page 10 of your user manual tells you all about it ie flashing prewash light means child lock is on, to release press second and fourth buttons together for 3 seconds to de activate

    What type of drain connection do you have stand pipe or spout on side of sink trap.

    If sink trap hose it should rise to highest point under sink to stop back flow from drain and not piont down wards from spout. Also use best wash powder and regular maint wash at 90deg

    Check your drain pipe behind machine, is it connected to a stand pipe or goes to a spout on the sink trap. if a stand pipe make sure there are no blockages and water is not coming back up the pipe and overflowing.
