does it only make this noise when the spray arms are going round, if so it can only be the circ pump its the only moving part on the dishwasher apart from the drain pump, like you say those pumps aint cheap, if you want the part number for the circ pump send me the 12NC number or service number as its sometimes known and ill get you the part number

hi john the non return valve is to stop water flowing back into the dishwasher if its connected to the sink, if the waste pipe of your dishwasher is connected to the sink just raise the waste pipe as high up the kitchen unit as possible and this should stop any dirty water going back into the dishwasher, hope this helps

hi the part number for the switch diaphram or pressostat is 481227128407, its an easy job to change it, remove the plinth at the bottom then there is normally 4 screws holding a metal plate onto the cabinet remove that, then 2 screws holding the bottom plate to the cabinet remove that to, then locate the switch diaphram, by looking at the new one you will be able to see how to remove it, just remember when fitting the new one you might have to reuse the old seal its a thin black band to keep it water tight, hope this helps 🙂

hi its realy easy to do just remove the back and hang it over the left hand side, remove the conveyour and hang that over the left hand side , no need to take any wires off, remove the rear fan cover, remove fan and inner cover pop the belt on and reasemble

hi it sounds to me like you have got a faulty pressostat, the dish washer thinks it full of water and therefor keeps wanting to empty, very common problem on the whirlpool, if you send me the service number ill look into it tomorrow for you, you will find the number down the right hand side of the door if facing it from the front, it usaly begins in 85
