I did try registering to do just that a few weeks back but was never contacted by their ‘admin’ for some reason.

I’ve done so 3 or 4 times, each time it’s telling me an activation code has been sent to my email address. Every time….nada! šŸ™

Very odd Martin. Please see the feedback I’ve just received:

“Hi mate, no issues here. Just registered and de-registered 3 user accounts with no problems. Could you ask the user to check junk / spam folders for the activation link. If they have not received the link, let me know their username and I’ll manually activate the account”

    Regards,

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

Since you want to avoid any difficult questions, here’s a bit more information about UKTradebook.com LTD (UKT) or, (National) Appliance Care (NAC) or, Findmyengineer.co.uk LTD (FME).

All of this information is a matter of public record and, if you want to go look you will find it all to be freely and publicly available. You can find it all in under twenty minutes using the Companies House website and Google.

It appears that what was FME became UKT through a change of name on the 28th February this year.

So, just as we presumed, same pig in a different dress.

But things get a bit more interesting than just that with the information published on Companies House, as follows:

    Name & Registered Office:

    UKTRADEBOOK.COM LTD
    120 CAVENDISH PLACE
    EASTBOURNE
    EAST SUSSEX
    ENGLAND
    BN21 3TZ
    Company No. 07531907

    Status: Active
    Date of Incorporation: 16/02/2011

    Country of Origin: United Kingdom
    Company Type: Private Limited Company

    Nature of Business (SIC):
82990 – Other business support service activities not elsewhere classified

    Accounting Reference Date: 29/02
Last Accounts Made Up To: 28/02/2013 (TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL)
    Next Accounts Due: 30/11/2014
Last Return Made Up To: 16/02/2013
    Next Return Due: 16/03/2014
    Mortgage: Number of charges: ( 0 outstanding / 0 satisfied / 0 part satisfied )
    Last Members List: 16/02/2013

    Previous Names:

    Date of change Previous Name

    28/02/2013 FINDMYENGINEER.CO.UK LTD

Now, when you use a little Google-Fu you will find that the address given as the registered address is here:

As you can see, the offices of an accountancy service. If you desire you can find them online here: http://www.taxassist.co.uk but I imagine that this is just a franchise of the main body but the fullest details are here: http://www.taxassist.co.uk/accountants/eastbourne

    Michael David Eden

According to sources though a person that is registered with this address as being their address, details are:

    MR MICHAEL DAVID EDEN
    120 CAVENDISH PLACE
    EASTBOURNE
    EAST SUSSEX
    ENGLAND
    BN21 3TZ
    Information
    Date Of Birth:Jun-1967
    Age:46 Years
    Nationality:BRITISH
    Country of Residence:ENGLAND
    Occupation:COMPANY DIRECTOR

    Jamie Parmley

Then we have the mysterious Jamie Parmley.

    MR JAMIE MICHAEL PARMLEY
UNIT 6 THE BEECHES INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
    COED CAE LANE TALBOT GREEN
    PONTYCLUN
    MID GLAMORGAN
    UNITED KINGDOM
    CF72 9DY
    Information
    Date Of Birth:Nov-1983
    Nationality:BRITISH
    Country of Residence:UNITED KINGDOM
    Occupation:IT DIRECTOR

He resigned as a director on 16th January this year and appears to have resided at Adrian’s old business address until then. There again, so did/does Adrian according to the records even although we all know that business is no longer trading at all let alone from that address.

That leaves Adrian as a director and his accountant pal from what I can see in the public records.

    Ain’t Got No Money

The company has a capital of £100, so a typical Limited company.

Last information available gives me that there was about Ā£9000 in net worth and about Ā£9100 in liabilities which means, in effect, they don’t got no money.

So, the chances of them taking any legal action against anyone is pretty much zero as they can barely afford a free consult as far as I can tell.

    John Cohen

However it also calls into question the mysterious John Cohen.

I mean, think about it, how can a company that has no money at all and, pretty much no standing afford to employ a high flying market executive from the likes of Indesit and/or Electrolux?

Then we start rummaging about to find out who this guy is (and, if he’s sane after joining this party) but we completely fail to find a single shred of evidence that the guy even exists. Now, in our small incestious trade that’s bordering on a miraculous occurrence.

    ā€Fictionalā€ Scenario

    Here’s what might have happened…

FME was set up and promoted by Adrian and, it failed.

So, in a bid to reinvent the wheel the business gets a makeover and morphs into UKT. At this point in time Mr Parmley has had enough and exits stage left probably realising that he could have a better life without this nonsense going on.

Ade does a runner to Wakefield leaving Wales behind. Among other things I expect.

A few months later, UKT also seems to be on a downward spiral so he dreams up this new thing, NAC and concocts a story to try to get people to sign on, anyone.

NAC is not an actual company at all, it’s just a namesake by the looks of it for show or, a bit of a throwback to the old Appliance Care Wales where it was originally dreamt up.

The rest I assume is history in the making.

    Promotion?

But think this a bit more though.

How can a company with no cash afford to promote itself?

Google want paid or, the business has to rely completely on organic search results which, if you follow the advice from Ally, myself and others, you can knock them out the park on and, not have to pay a bean to get it. More, it’s the gift that keeps on giving, for free. You don’t need this.

What would probably happen is that they’d take cash from whoever and use it to promote after the event.

In the meantime, how do they go about promoting this ā€˜cause, so far as I can tell, they can’t even afford to mailshot engineers and emailing each one is a very time consuming task, you have to find them first.

Ah, here’s an idea, why don’t we go on that UK Whitegoods site and offer the guys loads of work for free, they’ll sign up in droves… and, here we are.

Given that Adrian has or rather, had, no access to come on here and promote this ā€œthingā€ he had to find another way to get the message out.

Enter, a couple of members posts whether by chance or not as it may have been a favour for a mate, pop up on UKW about this ā€œnewā€ NAC thing only, it isn’t new at all, it’s just a rehash with a new name. I really am completely disinterested in how it got on here BTW, it’s irrelevant.

then, not a few days later but who shows up as a shiny new trade member, none other than Jamie PARRIE, not Jamie PARMLEY although, I will concede, it would be easy to get confused there. Who, happened to work for an electrical business just right about where Adrian once was, funny that, small world.

Now, I wonder, is it possible that these are the very same people… hmmm????

Looks in my opinion as if Mr Welke got a friend to sign up, get trade access then he started posting a load of drivel to try to bump the topic and get his business promoted.

    That kinda backfired, no?

Then after that all went rapidly South up pops another persona, John Cohen. This mystery man who is supposedly working for a company that hasn’t got any money and, he’s a marketing guy so why employ a marketing guy when you don’t have any money to spend on marketing.

If anyone can work that one out, good for you as you’re clearly smarter than I am.

But if you’re running a company with no money I guess it’d be real nice if you could get a bunch of people to send you Ā£20 a referral. You just need to find people stupid enough to do that.

So Adrian, you can skweem and skweem and skweem till the cows come home, it will not alter the fact that a lot of what’s been posted in this thread by you or your fictional alter egos is in large part wholly untrue.

I forgot to add, David came up with a great idea.

Instead of doing this you should become an author, he suggested that your first title should be…

    Fifty Shades Of Dodgy

You might want to look into that. šŸ˜‰

Some one turn the lights out when they leave NAC/UKT/FME.

Actually that might not be needed as the electric company will turn it off.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

    Hi all,

Kwatt, you seem to yet again be on a ‘mission’ if you like to tarnish the name of my colleague Mr Welke.

I believe I earlier expressed the very reason for not engaging here with you or anyone any further due to the very nature of what could be seen as a vendetta.

It’s been reported to me that a few people have chosen to join the NAC Forum and one in particular has been a pleasure to liaise with regarding debate and question answering.

As for me Mr Watt, how I can be afforded is none of your concern so I wouldn’t waste any more time of your day trying to figure it out.

This thread has now become laughable and as a new entrant to this area of conversation, this very thread has shown how stupid and childish some people are.

    Kind Regards,

    A very amused,

    John Cohen.

Re: NAC (ADVERT THREAD: IGNORE IT)

Reporting fact isn’t a mission, running a website that delivers news in various formats that’s sort of a thing I do.

    And yet, you’re still here.

And, still no answers or any real substance other than self promotion.

And, if it’s so stupid and childish, as one of the architects of it, what does that say about yourself?

Please continue though, it’s doing wonders for the site traffic reading the drivel coming from NAC/UKT/FME.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01p2mx4

Anyboy watch or remember Mr Welke run in with the welsh consumer watchdog program X-Ray, a complaint about him charging £273 , he never did the repair, gave an excuse of the part being incorrect and only refunded after the program got involved, the his business failed a few weeks later.

£273 for part & labour to an american refrigerator. Which part would cost that with labour ?

As for advice, here is some for free.

Thanks lee, I never seen that X-ray programme, it’s a very interesting read. I wonder if he’s related to a man I use to work for who did similar scams, he use to be in a dressing gown till midday after having a swim in his private pool, and had a tan!
