Re: Just starting out on my own…Help needed !

Ive been wanting to start up myself for a long time now, finally decided to bite the bullet, there seems to be a lot of work out there, just need to find it and have customers find me.

what are peoples thoughts on local papers adverts??
are there any accounts to look for or more importantly to avoid?? oviously this will depend on areas im from Lanarkshire just outside glasvagas Scotland 🙂

got 1000’s of leaflets and buisness cards ordered, set up website and emails, got phones sorted and ads on a few websites.

what about the mindfield that is TAX??

whats the best supplier to use for parts eg qualtex, connect or locally wcrum??

any hints tips or work would be greatly appreicated.

had one or 2 of these with knackered water valve not letting any water in hence overheat and trip.

usual complaint is steam from drawer tho….

instead of a big screwdriver i use a extending bar with a big socket loop through belt and push socket into motor shaft, pull down and work belt off bar and onto motor.

    kev

or use the hotpoint belt tool which is essentiallty the same,

    thanks

518008400 has the same pump motor, the housing is similar but this one has a small drain hose for manual draining, either block this off or just change the motor.

in stock at connect hefty price tho, still searching for a pattern equivelant……..

usually pcb have a look around the solder joints of the relays, blue one i think, even if you cant see any damage it will still be the board.

no it would do everything but turn, usually a door lock or module fault..

    Re: CTD80P F-11

F11 is a “no pump connection” fault.

id start there, check connections at pump and board (J5).

im sure these are similar to LG machines in which case LE means door open, door pin, lock or module are likely candidates….

Re: Miele WS5425 No go at all

make sure the safety release for the door(beside filter) is not sticking or in wrong position, gives the impression machine is totally dead??
