    Hotpoint WDL540 washer dryer

check wiring at door lock, motor and module(especially motor)

The clicking isnt a fault code it is the lock solenoid trying to engage.

Top pcb or wiring fault most likely.

I have just changed the PCB on this machine now it fails to rinse and spin after a wash; instead it agitates endlessly on 01 minute until customer cancels.
Sent the PCB back to EMW who tested it and found no fault with it.
Have tested heater and motor for insulation both have infinite, I even changed the heater anyway still the same, is there any think else that I can try.

    Thanks for looking

check out the pressure switch, if there is 2 its usually the black small one it works using frequecy so dont blow through it but check connections and give it a gentle tap, if not try a new one.

i agree with keith it will be f11 which is optical water sensor in sump, usually just gunged up but can be faulty, also check wiring and flow meter.

yeah top needs to come off but in there wisdom they put screws in behind the side panels lol

you can usually get away with just taking out back screws of sides and squeeze a driver in to undo the top screws, after that its pretty straight forward iirc

might just need reset hold in start/cancel button for about 12 seconds, for some reason they take ages to reset.

Check the pressure tube isn’t split, especially around the pressure switch the right angle causes problems

The wee top pcb boards can cause funny switching on when off and going dead etc faults, think they are about £25
