    Hi

The appliance should be a Maytag. the plug should be at the back, maybe hidden behind the back cover.

i did not find the original fuse..put in some fuse wire 8amp

replacing an enclosed fuse with a piece of wire is not a good idea
its the same as putting a piece of wire across the fuse in a plugtop

first of all if the fuse blows you will have molten copper over every component around
second an enclosed fuse blows quicker because it is not cooled by the surrounding air
third to make things worse you put a higher value than the original

these fuses are easily available I think I got mine from Farnell so there is no excuse

my fix is temp….its not staying like that it was to test
that it worked again….so fuse will be found before i move it on.
i will take a look for one on farnell

    all the best

sensor at bottom right hand side of evaporator..release…reposition on top of evaporator..

No diagrams available…sorry..GIAS would deny any knowledge of problem

    learnt by trial and error

Re: Hoover HFA27K Fridge not cold enough

..Go on get me into trouble…

Common fault is that over a period of time ice builds up and blocks th evaporator… By moving the defrost sensor that would normally be on the bottom right of the evaporator and cable tying it to the very top centre. This will therefore allow a slightly longer defrost which would normally cure the problem.

Defrost the complete unit for 36hrs with the freezer door open before moving sensor.

Re: Rear height level adjustment Whirlpool dishwasher

    Hi

There is a plastic adjuster in the centre of the base cover which faces you, normally looks like a white nut with a phillips in the centre(if my memory serves me)This then lifts the foot up or down dependent on which way its turned.
