    HI

Dependent on what kit you fitted previously depends on what parts you will need. But You will need to test the heater, thermal fuse, defrost sensor( personally I would change whatever) Also during a modification period there was an extra fuse board fitted next to the main pub at the rear. That also needs to be checked.

    Hi Posh

If the water tank is frozen then you will need to replace the rear panel, possibly the defrost sensor and hopefully the water tank doesn’t split when its defrosting.
If the evaperator is full of ice / snow when you take the cover off then you might have to replace the heater and or thermal fuse also.

All of the parts can be replaced. We also have them in stock also.

    Re: Sub zero

    Hi

On American appliances they use one loom fits all models in that range so it’s not uncommon to have halve a dozen loose cable plugs in the rear area.

Are the lights 12v / 110v ? If 12v then look for the transformer that can be separate or contained on the main board.

    Hi

I would still be checking the defrost heater. disconnect the heater when it has tripped after turning off then switch it back on.If it doesn’t trip then it’s most likely be the heater..

Re: Approximate Age of this Belling Cooker Hood / spare part

As a guess the hood is nearly 20+ years old and the tenant would have a field day in court if the landlord wanted to push his luck.

These are a wear and tear part and plastic heated up over years goes brittle simple fact.

Tell the tenant the truth that its wear and tear and offer to put into writing that the landlord refused to replace with brown ends and the tenant isn’t liable and if you do the report FOC good for you or offer to do it for £10 to cover your time..Your not lying.

Re: Are telescopic oven runners a good idea?

    Hi

Yes they are a good idea especially for the elderly as instead of having to bend down onto knees ect and having to lean into the oven and possibility of arms being burnt they are good.

Re: Samsung american style Rsa1utmg defrost issue please hel

    Hi

Firstly change the defrost sensor. Yellow wires with either a white or black bullet end.

Then see what it does overnight but be aware that it only goes into defrost every 12-14 hours.
