the heater is on the evaperator.

    Re: Samsung SR L3216B Problem

    Hi

High probability that the defrost heater has failed,if the defrost sensor does not reach +17oc then the unit wont restart after a defrost,by switching off and then back on you reset it till the next defrost time.

we can supply the parts if needed, but f you diagois wrong the parts arent returnable.

First of all: thanks Greg…

Problem was removed by cleaning entire salt container/regeneration unit with decalc. (acid bath :dark: )… perhaps it was a small hole :drunk: clogged… but before this I have cleaned all things (inclusive programer contacts) without results…

I’ve looked again after some info… but what I have found was, the same thing: yours isn’t in database, but the other one is. 😈 👿
I cannot find a way to see on which products (models) are fitted…

Do you know that “solectron” is in my town??? But now his name is “Flextronics”… I will look after the file…

I don’t think EMW or QER repair these modules yet.

It has only to rewrite 24C01 eprom memory… nothing else…

I’m sorry because I could not help with anything regarding this brand… they give access only for models made for each market (country)… I do not have such model in database.
perhaps if you do some picture of user interface panel; user interface board (from behind panel) and main PCB perhaps I can identify which model is available in my country or Germany or Russia… and then I can send eprom file for that…

iadom wrote:So you suspect there are other faults apart from the open circuit heater on this?

Yes… because heater has nothing to do with program selection or running different those you’ve select…

Notify: when you run test program you should let him till it’s finished (the last phase is filling water to wash level and than he is stopping… erasing last error). Switch OFF from main switch few seconds and again ON. Select drain and that it’s…

    Hi Jim,
You can start looking on selector potentiometer. You can open it and perhaps to clean it…
On second problem about display digits (can be also related with first problem) I think that there is an missed data inside eeprom. In eeprom data are stored all configuration data regarding your washing machine (like on Electrolux EWM2000 electronic board and configuration code). “Test program” it is done by one subrutine from flash instead of eeprom.
