Hi all, my Arrow (A0900-51/ PN F09001GB53) is kaput. I’m pretty sure it is just the oven element. I know the string is for the grill element, but I would appreciate a pointer on where to get a spare oven element. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Which of the double ovens (Neff / Bosch) is being updated? I was told that the Bosch is a new model just out, and from the neff web site and brouche, they list the model. So are you saying that Neff model of double oven is being replaced soon, even though it’s in the 2005 brouche?

By the by, which electric double oven / hob / hood would you choose with a £1,000 budget? It needs to fit under a counter.

hi,

I spend £15,000 a month on spares for contract and private work. This is not an issue for us.

Whilst a lot of what you say is correct andy2 with the politics and ethics of what wholesalers and manufacturers are doing, its still no big deal. I don’t have a problem sending faulty parts back or getting credits, with anyone. As for private work the profit margins you work on should have this factor built in as Martin suggests.

The manuals were really for completeness as I’m letting out my house and these things are kind of good to have. Should be able to get by without them..

Understand what you say about parts obsolesence – if anything serious goes probably easier/cheaper to buy new by now.

I’m not able to do repairs@ covering ALL individual bussiness as I can only cover 1 postcode with one agent in Mappoint. The primary map is not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} accurate as a few of them are not on Repairs@ and for instance we have not included a couple we do not want (considering the size of area)

However if you want a political map of the areas covered by repairs at I’ll knock one up today.

All one colour, postcode areas only (not district) will highlight the gaps. For greater effect may be better to split the map (remember the four way split from the MFI original map?) to allow a bigger map size on your post. The map of the UK in A4 size will not show great detail of the uncovered areas.

Whilst we do have overlaps in some post codes I can’t think how to show it. Can’t even do it by skill set as we all do washers!!! And the gas coverage would look crap!!

As far as training goes we do have an inportant consideration to inject into this. Our washer.

As well as the core training module (detergent) we will have to quickly tour the country doing sessions on our appliance, using Primary agents venues where possible. This will have to be a priority as it achieves hands on for the guys but also gives us an intro into the independents we don’t know at the moment.

What with the management of the core module and our appliance sales and training, I don’t think we will have room for much else this year.

I think we would be better organising what we have planned rather than introducing more before we are ready. Agreed that DVD’s are the way forward and if you recall IW and AJ mentioned them a couple of meetings ago.

Its very important that we do this extremely well and as ever that requires good management, first. Remember that we will have huge costs associated with ACH and promotion of our appliances along with Database requirements. On top of that we have Spare sales and storage vehicles to consider, as disscussed at BM2.

What I’m saying is don’t jump too soon, lets follow the plan and the budget until Sibson where we will need to re-avalueate and assess the next period in depth.

I have run my own business for going on 15 years now and have always given 12 months guarantee on parts and labour. It really is a non issue, as over time your business wins, as the odd hiccups are more than compensated for by all the successful repairs that don’t cause any problems at all.

Take a long term view, apply commonsense and it fits nicely together with good customer guarantees.

Oh and join repairs@ today….ta
