KeymasterRe: Zanussi ZFK 61/27R Iced Up
Thanks once again for your prompt replies. I did notice that the Mieles look very similar to Liebherrs. Do Liebherr make cranes for Miele too?? 😆
This is getting expensive – £800 for the washing machine and now this. Anyway, both my Zanussi appliances have lasted 8 years so I am fairly happy.

if considering a Meile the also consider a Liebherr as they make the refrigeration for Meile,Consider the cost difference due to name badge.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Was considering getting a Miele fridge/freezer. Have a Miele washing machine but not sure how good fridges are.

Hi Penguin,
Sorry for the double post 😳
This is your reply from the other thread
“Theoretically it’s a temperature sensor problem – sensor failed, wiring broken at terminals (famous fault) or associated circuitry on the computer board. Awkward one – pro help often best bet.
Check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW engineer in your area.
If you wish to look yourself, pull the plug first
Regards,
Penguin45″I’ve read through every thread pertaining to all the Margherita 2000s and now really regret not doing any research before we bought this machine. I’m about to have my first baby and don’t have any spare cash at the moment so I’m beginning to panic a bit. I’m a bit of a diy-er however and would like to have a go at fixing this myself before stretching my credit card any further…. I’ve done a bit of electrical work in the past and am quite dextrous, so if you could point me in the direction of those terminals I’m happy to have a look at those for broken wires.
Thank you!

Keymasterthe numbering is different on the replacement (qualtex) stats you provided.
Writing is on the top of the stats;
stat A= KSD 301 250V 10A 130
stat B = KSD301 250V 10A 105My guess would be that stat A is the same as the one shot L130C. Can you confirm that is the case?

Thanks Penguin – sorry for the double post, I didn’t notice the date of this one until I’d submitted so thought the thread was dead – I’m still quite new to all this internet malarcky 😳 I’ll quote your reply and post a response on my thread entitled
“Margherita 2000 AWD125 Advantage – knob clicking round”
in case anyone else has had this problem.

KeymasterThanks. Got the replacement thermostats from your shop as suggested ( part number 1701583 ).
How do I tell which of the two replacements is the “green dot” thermostat? They look identical to me, except for small differences in the writing on the sides.Or is there no significant difference between the two?
Thanks

KeymasterAdditional info!
Just read the sticky!
The refrigerant is R600 (I think) and it’s a frost free model.

KeymasterRe: Tricity Sovereign cooker
B-1-4,
My Tricity sovereign has a similar number selection problem. In fact the ovens are useless. Are you able to select numbers on the rotary selector?
If it works, I live in Penzance, but sometimes come past Bristol – would you consider £5 to take off your hands?

Hi, I’ve got a margherita 2000 AWD125 Advantage which is doing exactly the same thing. Whichever programme I select, the knob just keeps clicking around. When it starts doing it, the neon flashes very rapidly – too fast to count how many times, then, whilst it’s clicking round, it settles into flashing in groups of 3. I’ve emptied the filter, checked the drain. Any other ideas anyone? It’s driving me insane javascript:emoticon(‘8O’). It’s been doing it for a while but been ok after combinations of draining filter/setting it to “pump” before a programme/turning off the power etc, but nothing is working now at all. Even when I turn it to “stop/reset” it does the same thing – water in the pre-wash compartment, pumping and the clicking round of the dial… It’s only 3 years old and I’ve treated it well….
Please help!!

KeymasterRe: Bosch SMS6032 – Running problem
Thanks Greg for the very useful advice. As you predicted the metering hose was partially blocked. The float assembly and microswitch were also sticking.
Cleaned everything and now seems to be running fine.Tony
